We look forward to welcoming all our incoming KinderGators from 5–6 PM on Thursday, May 15 at Greenwood! Students and parents will rotate through special activities with our LAMPS team, kindergarten teachers, and administrators. Students will also receive a bus safety lesson and learn how to navigate the cafeteria. Each child will receive 10 essential items to work on over the summer to help prepare for a smooth transition into kindergarten. These tools are designed to build early confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and ensure each student starts the school year feeling ready and excited to learn.
This week we recognized and appreciated our incredible nurses at Greenwood! This photo celebrates our past—Mrs Taylor, our present—Nurse C, and our future—Nurse V. School nurses play a vital role in keeping our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. Their care, expertise, and quick thinking support both the physical and emotional well-being of our school community every day.
